New Parent Care Packages was started in 2021 to provide parents of newborns additional emotional support in the early months after having a baby. The package contains items meant to nourish the body, cope with the inherent stress of this life phase and connect with oneself and others. New parents who could benefit from additional support after birth are gifted the care packages by birth professionals or other people who care. We believe that the postpartum period can be a challenging transition for families but that with proper support and resources, parents can thrive during this time.
